Sony Mobile is going to launch  mobiles which are

Xperia go

1. scratch-resistant
2. dust resistant 
3. water resistance smart phones 
4. Wet finger tracking , you can use the screen even if the screen is wet

named Xperia Go and Xeria acro S. These two are based on Andorid OS.  Hope with these kind of phones we do not have to worry about whether it will fall in water or dust and the screen will ge scratch if we keep it some place. Waiting for the release to happen to acquire one

google maps going offline for android

At last google has decided to make the map to be offline for android. It will give the details to street level. Update will be go for android maps for around 100 countries in the next few weeks.

So with this feature even if we do not have data connection (Like GPRS, 3G) we can see the map in our mobile. This was a long waited feature from google.
