Tele marketing calls (phone numbers) to have special number in India , starting from 140

lot of time when we are busy in something ..or in roaming...call will and when we take it you hear....songs, or  marketing calls asking do u need credit card, loan etc etc. TRAI is introducing a  rule, so that all these Tele marketing call phone number will start from 140-xxxx , so the number will change to 13 digits. When u see the number you can judge to cut the call or take it..

Good decision by TRAI .... after this change in number, i think we can easy avoid such calls.

Computer and Mobile usage making our brain to be lazy and memory problems

Computer and mobile usage making our brain to be lazy and memory problems - Yes or  No ???

After I started using the mobile phone and computer i think people started lost interest in remembering things. I do not know even one of my friends mobile or their home number now. Before I started using mobile phones i used to remembers all the number of my friends. Now all friends number are in my mobile, even if some persons ask a number, i just forward it as SMS or business card, the easy on.

Now talking about the computer, again the same, previously i used to do maths by thinking. addition multiplication, division. now after using computer for every mathematical sage, relying on the calc in the computer, again the easy one.

I also read one article stating that children should not see TV till the age of 2 years. The reason been stated, the TV programs, scenes changes every second. For a developing  child it is not good. In nature and in our normal life the movements and all are smooth or with continuity. So this can  cause children  concentration problem in later years.

This can be true for adults also right. I think some one should do a research on this. Or any one had already done it ???

Linux kernel version 3, linux tagged 3.0-rc1, Linux 3

Linux version got tagged 3.0-rc1 by Linus Torvalds. So lets expect a new life for the Linux Kernel.
As far i know there is no major architecture change in the kernel. This is just another version from the current 2.6 kernel, instead of tagging 2.8, it went to Linux 3.0-rc1. We will see how the Linux community take it forward.

Why it got tagged, when there is no major Kernel architecture change ? Hope when the Linux 3, stable release comes we have some new stuff to talk about.
